Performance Coaching

Performance Coaching

“Excellence is not a skill. It is an attitude.” – Ralph Marston

Whether it’s for business, sports, personal or leadership development, even those at the top of their game benefit from performance coaching to maintain their success or take things to the next level. My performance coaching sessions have proven beyond doubt that people and businesses are capable of much more than they ever imagined by following a clear strategy.

To ensure that I am at the top of my game, I take on a new sport or activity annually. I start from the beginning, the ‘learn’ phase, I ‘earn’ my stripes, then I ‘burn’, that is ‘go hard’. Learn-Earn-Burn.

Mindset is everything. Our thoughts, beliefs and attitudes can have a profound impact on our lives and how we approach opportunities and challenges. Great results can be achieved by making the best of our resources and strengths, working on our weaknesses, and maintaining a positive mindset. Research in positive psychology shows that a positive outlook helps to enhance motivation, achieve goals, maintain healthier relationships, improve problem-solving, increase resilience and general overall success. But we also need to look at our gaps, and how to mitigate or overcome them.

Striving for a marked improvement requires conscious effort; it takes courage, determination, dedication and resilience to achieve the very best. It can be done, and the chance of success is greatly improved with regular guided coaching sessions.

I apply a range of tailored techniques focused on the following outcomes for individuals, teams and organisations:

  • Business – improving efficiency, productivity and effectiveness in the workplace
  • Sports – enhancing teamwork, athletic performance, mental resilience and improving morale, focus and determination
  • Personal – growth, life balance and well-being, improving self-esteem and confidence
  • Leadership – developing leadership skills, decision-making and strategic thinking

I will gather relevant information, make an assessment, put measures and practices in place and hold people to account to achieve the desired result by way of:
